On January 23, 2024 our beloved wife/mom Gloria lost her brave battle with Alzheimer's disease. As time marched on, we watched helplessly as her precious memories and her personality were at first slowly and then rapidly stripped away from her and from us.
Before Alzheimer's stole her from us all, Gloria was a sweet, kind, supportive, and devoted wife, mother, teacher, and volunteer. She was a benevolent and selfless woman who was always sacrificing of herself for others.
Alzheimer's is a disease that turns loved ones into strangers and causes unspeakable pain to so many. Victims of Alzheimer's lose cognitive function, and the disease affects their memory, behavior, physical abilities, and even how they think. It is an isolating disease for both victims and their families, and its progression is heartbreaking to witness.
Please consider making a donation to Alzheimer's Association in honor of your loved one or ours. Help the victims, present and future, fight this insidious disease.
