Robert Elliott Hill, 70, a lifelong resident of Arlington, Texas sought comfort in the loving arms of His Lord and Savior on February 13, 2022, surrounded by his family.

Robert was born on April 09 to Henry and Claudia Hill in Pasadena, California. After graduating from Abilene High School, a proud Abilene High Eagle, Robert chased his dreams to be a structural engineer at the University of Texas at Arlington on a full ride playing both baseball and football. Robert would later get his masters in engineering and run, in his families eyes the worlds greatest engineering firm, Brockette Davis Drake in Dallas, Texas.

Robert was known by most as a mind beyond his years, a self proclaimed knowledge of every single high school mascot and anthem, lover of all things oldies, Baylor Bear athletic fanatic, builder of the worlds largest concrete building, a survivor of getting a gator stuck up a tree and telling the tale, but most importantly a loving husband, father, and a proud papa. He had a passion for life and making his impact on everyone he met. Robert was the kind of person that made you want to reach for the stars and push yourself to be the best that you could be. He had a way of bringing people together and letting you know just how truly special you were.

If Robert were to leave you with three things it would be this: first and foremost that God is good all the time; second that cement is used to make concrete and that they are most certainly not the same; and lastly to always be proud of your last name.

Robert is survived by the love of his life, his wife Judi Hill of 37 years, his son Aaron Hill and his wife Jenny, his daughter Rachel Hill and her husband Richard Testa, his daughter Jordan Hill, his granddaughter Bekah Ann Testa, his soon to be grandson of Aaron and Jenny Hill, and his many relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 25 at the South Oaks Campus of Fielder Church, 5925 U.S. 287 Frontage Road, Arlington, TX 76017. The family encourages everyone to come as you are and to be ready to celebrate one remarkable man together with them.
