Robert J. Poole passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 in Buffalo Grove. He was born on March 31, 1940 in Chicago, IL.
Bob was raised in Oak Park where he attended Ascension Grammar School and Fenwick High School. He also spent a semester at Palmer Chiropractic College. For the first half of his adult life he worked in the produce industry as both an employee and a proprietor. Afterward, he worked at Judge and Dolph Liquor warehouse until he retired in 2015.
At age 68, Bob was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. In spite of that, he continued to work for another 7 years.
As well, he enjoyed a variety of music including Big Band Jazz and Opera. Bob loved spending time with his family which ranged from his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his many siblings, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Unfortunately, this disease robbed us of him long before his passing. He was someone who was so loved by all who knew him.
