She developed specialized dementia care units and understood the needs and approach to those suffering from this affliction. From an early age, Rosalie learned first hand through her mother's care of her grandmother, about the difficulties handling Alzheimer's Disease and dementia. She mastered the unequivocal loving approach to providing care to the demented.
