Elaine will forever be missed. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and lived life to the fullest. Elaine had an energy that was infectious and could always get a laugh out of anyone in the room. She was independent woman and wasn't afraid of anything; she was a true role model for the generations that followed her.
Unfortunately, this disease took her from us long before she actually left this world. Alzheimers is a devastating diagnosis, but she was so strong always smiling even when she didn't remember us anymore. Our wish for her and anyone else impacted by this disease is that we can find a cure, find a cure for the pain, find a cure for the memories, and find a cure for mental and physical toll this takes on a life.
We all imagine her now playing slots...the penny ones of course...hearing the non-stop ching ching of the slot machine.
