Our mother was a strong and vibrant woman, never ill a day in her life. She was the picture of health well into her 70's, until Alzheimer's began to steal her away in tiny increments. Increments so small that in the beginning you're not sure if the forgetfulness is age appropriate or something else. Unfortunately for her it was something else. For ten long years we watched her slip away. Nothing can prepare you for the loss.
We hope that this memorial page can help bring about a cure for this disease and spare patients and their families the struggle that we went through. Thank you for your generous donations in the memory of an amazing woman taken from us all too soon.
