Pat Baker is a loving, caring, and kind person who was born in Chicago, IL on the 26th of November 1943. She was, and is, a wonderful mother who had three children from her first marriage. Jerry, (deceased in a car accident at the age of 21), Tracy (now lives in Kentucky), and Shawn (who lives in Weaverville, NC). Pat also has a stepdaughter, Karen, who lives in Virginia Beach, VA. In addition, she has three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Pat's siblings including older brother, Richard, now deceased, a younger brother, Tim, who recently moved to Alexander, NC, and a younger sister Nancy who lives in Plainfield, IL. She also has two sister's-in-law (Lisa who was married to Richard) and Lutye, (who is married to Tim). Pat's key employments included Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) which started when she lived in Durham, NC, then she worked for the United States Service Organization (USO) in Washington, DC., then the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), where she worked with the Board of Directors at the Washington, DC headquarters until her retirement from AARP and her move from Oakton, VA (just West of the DC Beltway) to Weaverville, NC. She married Ron Baker in 1990 and they moved from Virginia to their home in Weaverville in 2008. Pat liked to take trips and she visited more than twenty countries plus a considerable number of states and vacation destinations in the United States.
