Albert Lynn Willess (Popeye) died at the age of 84 in the early hours of Saturday, September 2, 2023, having spent the previous day surrounded by the family he loved. He was a devout Christian and a humble man that sought to serve his fellow man using his many talents. He is described by those who knew him as a great man with a wonderful heart who was the kindest, most generous person.
His death comes after a long battle with Alzheimer's. This terrible disease stole this wonderful man from us slowly over the last eight years of his life.
Thank you for honoring him by supporting Alzheimer's research. Let's help put an end to this heartbreaking disease that steals those we love from us even while they live.
