As many of you know the Fall of 2014 was a tough one on Steve(husband) and his family as we lost both his parents. However, what most people were unaware of is that Don, Steve's father, was also suffering from Dementia. Alzheimer's, is a form of Dementia that accounts for 60% to 70% of all cases.
Then in February of 2018 I lost my Grandma Betsy before she could meet her newest Great Grandson, Steven Jr.
While the healing process will be continually ongoing, we'll lean on the power of prayer and continue to pray for a cure.
What this particular event (Blondes vs Brunettes) has done for Steve & I like so many others, is offer a tremendous support system and a way to give back. Not to mention, the funds we raise for the Alzheimer's Association stay here locally!
Last year was a landmark year in fundraising as over $1 Million dollars has been raised from this event!!!!! Now, help us in raising another $1 Million in our fight for a Cure!
With 5.4 million Americans living with the disease, another 15million acting as caregivers and Alzheimer’s being the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death, WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT now more then ever!
Steve & I appreciate any support/donation you can make(even if it's a few dollars) in order to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research to discover methods of prevention, treatment and ultimately, a cure.
Thank you in advance for your generosity – together, we WILL tackle Alzheimer’s! Always, Steve & Kelli (Steven Jr & Brooks)
