I have always been somebody who cherishes others for exactly who they are. I also have come to cherish people for exactly what they are not. Working at a senior living community has helped me to realize just how important our brain is in who we are and who we are not. The journey that I am currently on is taking me down a road that is riddled with individuals suffering with Alzheimer's Disease, and some who are thriving despite Alzheimer's Disease. It is truly inspiring to see men and women every day who are thriving to learn new things and make new connections with others despite a diagnoses of Alzheimer's Disease. I can only hope that one day I will be that strong and courageous, but for today I will fight the fight to keep people from ever receiving a diagnoses of Alzheimer's Diseae. Support the Alzheimer's Association and the active young women who are fighgting, not each other but for an END TO ALZHEIMER'S!
Help us to TACKLE Alzheimer's, one well-run route at a time!
