Alzheimer's Disease has impacted my life in so many ways. The disease has affected my family members, friends and my community at large. One of the reasons BvB is so important is that it allows us, as a group of young professional women, to fight this disease head on by donating directly to care and reasearch, which will make a true impact right now -today! Women are at the epicenter of the Alzheimer’s epidemic. Nearly two-thirds of the Americans living with Alzheimer’s – and more than 60 percent of Alzheimer’s and dementia caregivers – are women. As women who's lives have been impacted by Alzeimer's Disease we are taking action by taking the field!
I am asking you for support in my participation in RivALZ Blondes versus Brunettes DC, a flag football game and fundraising competition to help end Alzheimer’s. We may be opponents on the field, but when it comes to Alzheimer’s, we’re all on the same side. Your donation will advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Thank you for helping us tackle this disease – win or lose, our true goal is a world without Alzheimer’s!
To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
