Cheers to another amazing season of Blondes Vs Brunettes. This is my third year fighting for a cure by playing flag-football with this wonderful organization. Blondes vs Brunette’s is dedicated to raising money to find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. When I first started playing BVB, I played because I wanted to play more football and meet like-minded athletic girls. Now, not only do I play with them, but I play FOR them. I am very passionate about with organization because throughout my life and these three seasons, I have seen friends and family members personally affected by this disease. Having to see people (many women) live through Alzheimer’s repeatedly, it’s absolutely heartbreaking. We need to find a cure!
I am truly dedicated to these girls, their families, protecting my future, and yours. Let's not sit on the side line and watch this devastating disease take our loved ones.
Last year alone we raised over $90,000 for the Alzheimer's Association. Together we can make a difference on and off the field! It is because of people like you that we can impact the community and work towards a cure! Together we can tackle Alzheimer's!
Women are at the epicenter of the Alzheimer’s epidemic. Nearly two-thirds of the Americans living with Alzheimer’s – and more than 60 percent of Alzheimer’s and dementia caregivers – are women. It’s time to take action by taking the field!
Please support my participation in RivALZ, a flag football game and fundraising competition to help end Alzheimer’s. We may be opponents on the field, but when it comes to Alzheimer’s, we’re all on the same side. This is a disease that must be defeated and we need your help to do it. Your donation will advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Thank you for helping us tackle this disease – win or lose, our true goal is a world without Alzheimer’s!
