My Personal Fundraising Page
Dear Friends,
I have officially signed up for the 2024 Camel's Hump Challenge – a 13 mile wilderness cross-country skiing event in Vermont, scheduled for February 3, that traverses around the perimeter of Camel's Hump, the third highest peak (4083') in Vermont's Green Mountains - to raise the awareness and funds to advance the care, support, and research efforts for the Alzheimer’s Association.
This event is also very personal to my family and I. My mama passed away earlier this year from battling this incurable illness for many years (she is on the picture with my dad). I am dedicating this race to her name, to my dear uncle Fila who is battling a similar form of dementia and to the name of anyone suffering from this devastating disease.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimers and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk and we must come together to change the course of this disease.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association, Vermont Chapter and its work to enhance care and support programs. Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease!
