Camels Hump Challenge for Alzheimer's
Hey y'all -
It's that time of year again.... Snow everywhere and cold as hell! That means it's again time for the Camels Hump Challenge! Beret and I were fortunate enough to get pulled into this amazing event 3 years ago, and now it holds a pretty sacred place in my heart. Too many people lose themselves to this degenerative disease, and too many families lose the loved ones they used to know to its grips.
By participating in this event, I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk and we must come together to change the course of this disease.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association, Vermont Chapter and its work to enhance care and support programs. Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease!
If all goes according to plan, this year's event is supposed to happen on Feb 3rd. I'm feeling pretty good about our training and am eager to get out there to ski with my friends, support my family, and honor my father.
I love you all and appreciate your consideration.
