Join me in the fight against Alzheimer's
Hello friends and family,
I'm participating in the upcoming Camel's Hump Challenge, a 13-mile backcountry ski course circumnavigating Camel's Hump Mt here in northern Vermont. By deciding to participate in the challenge (and hopefully finishing in one piece!), I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association...not to mention gaining a good motivator for staying healthy and active this winter!
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. As one-third of seniors pass away with Alzheimer's or other form of dementia, it's likely you've known someone close to you who's been affected by the disease. Thus, it's time we came together to change the course of this illness.
If you're able, I'm asking if you'd please support my efforts by making a donation of any amount that works for you. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention, and ultimately a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
Thank you for supporting me and joining the fight.
All the best,
