Team Hatchet / CHC 2023
Dear friends and family — Will you consider donating to the Camel's Hump Challenge …. again?!
Year after year, I remain passionate about this event. I continue to serve on the planning committee, and this unique ski event is often a highlight of winter for me. I’ll be skiing in February 2024 with Team Hatchet, a group of adventurous female friends who have tackled the Challenge with me a number of times now.
I'm also humbled to report I've been named the recipient of the 2024 Champion Award. Established four years ago, the award is "presented to an individual, team, or group that has provided major contributions to the Challenge during the 37 years of the event’s history." Although I prefer to stay out of the limelight, it's nice to know I've helped make a positive impact through this work.
Please consider a donation to support the Challenge and the important mission of the Alzheimer’s Association. Any amount -- large or small -- is greatly appreciated! All funds stay local, and benefit the Alzheimer's Association Vermont chapter.
You can donate here, if you choose: http://act.alz.org/goto/catherine_mcintyre
By participating in this event, I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050.
