My Personal Fundraising Page
I first volunteered for the Alzheimer's Association's "A Ride to Remember" in 2010 after my mother passsed away due to this horrible disease. For 10 years, I have been honored to help this event as a bicycle mechanic. The 2020 event is virtual so I have committed to ride the 252 miles. If you see fit in these difficult times, please offer your support with a donation. I thank you in advance.
More details below:
By participating in A Ride to Remember, I'm taking on the Virtual Ride Challenge of riding 252 miles during the month of July. I've also committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Now is the time to come together to change the course of this disease!
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to provide care support for all affected and advance research toward better treatments, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s! Your support means the world to me on this memorable journey!
