#ENDALZ in honor of Henry F. Patullo Sr.
I’ll be running with the Alzheimer’s Association Team in the NYC Marathon in honor of my grandfather, Henry F. Patullo Sr.
He was the strongest person I knew and I grew up adoring him. Unless it was time to eat, he was rarely sitting down when he was with his grandkids. At least one of us could be found sitting on his shoulders, being pushed by him in the swing or hammock, playing baseball in the front yard, or holding his hand walking to get ice cream from Carvel. He never failed to make us feel loved and was always making us laugh.
The last 14 yrs of his life were an uphill battle after he was diagnosed with Alzheimers, which is why I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease!
