Alex Comer's NYC Marathon Page
This year I will be running the New York City Marathon in honor of my best friend, Reeves Gauthreaux, who sadly passed on Christmas morning 2023.
A best friend since we were kids, Reeves never stopped pushing me to achieve more not only in my athletic efforts, but in my life as a whole. Reeves loved to snowboard, skate, listen to great music and workout. These are just some of the many passions he shared with me and so many others. I believe running the New York Marathon and raising money for a wonderful foundation like The Alzheimer's Association is one of the best ways we can honor such an amazing friend.
It was a goal of Reeves' to run the New York Marathon and now an incredible group of friends and family will be running in 2024! Please help support myself and all of team RUN IT FOR REEVES as we conquer the NYC marathon for Reeves and raise money to make an impact on all those effected by Alzheimer’s.
- Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk and we must come together to change the course of this disease.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease. Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease!
