My Personal Fundraising Page
My very best friend of over 35 years passed away from Alzheimer’s. He no longer knew his family, friends or whereabouts. It was so disheartening to see a man that was once an intelligent IBM engineer and wonderful father, grandfather, husband, and friend be taken away from all of us by this disease at such a young age. His family are the ones that really suffered throughout this ordeal as seeing the person that you love no longer knowing you is very painful. I commend them for the support that they continued to provide to my best friend.
This year's plunge is again for Hal and his family as well as others that are affected by Alzheimer's.
By participating in this event, I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk and we must come together to change the course of this disease.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease. Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease!
