Why do we do what we do? Family! 

My mom (Cindi Simonson) was diagnosed with dementia early last year, but we believe it started years earlier. Early this year (2023) she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. The same disease that her Grandpa suffered from. It's heartbreaking seeing someone so close to you go through something no one can help her with. We have tried countless medications, but they all made it worse. There are no medications that will help her.  She is still at home with my dad (Mike). He is a champ for being so brave & strong and standing by her while he see's his high school sweetheart deteriorate and forget the "easiest" things that we take for granted. 

Together we can help fight this horrific disease! 

Suzy and I will be throwing bags on April 15th. We are raising money to help the Alzheimer's Association find a cure for this disease. We appreciate EVERY dollar donated! When we are the team with the most donations, we will receive 2 tickets to the Alzheimer's Association Gala. This would mean the WORLD TO US! Thank you so much!

For every $25 donated by one person, we will donate 1 purple HEART2heart to someone in your life who is suffering from Alzheimer's. 

For every $100 donated by one person, we will donate 2 purple HEART2hearts to someone in your life who is suffering from Alzheimer's and 5 additional HEART2hearts to the Alzheimer's Association.

For every $500 donated by one person, we will donate 2 purple HEART2hearts to someone in your life who is suffering from Alzheimer's  25 purple HEART2hearts to the Alzheimer's Association. 

Alzheimer's disease is a progressive disorder that affects memory, behavior and thinking. It is the most common cause of dementia in older adults. Unfortunately, there is no cure, but early detection can help manage the symptoms and improve quality of life for both the patient and their caregivers.
