In memory of a loving Father and Grandfather, we ride to raise money for Alzheimer’s.
Gardner Ring was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who always looked out and cared for his family. He was a child of God and treated people as kingdom treasures. In the early 2000s he was diagnosed with Dementia/ Alzheimer’s. For many years we all looked out for him and loved him as he had always loved us. In 2010 he passed at home, on hospice care, where he could be with family and see the lake and home he loved.
Over the years he forgot many things, but he always knew where he belonged. We never stopped seeing the love in his eyes. The 60 years of togetherness was evident watching him and his wife, the love that they shared was obvious in both their eyes.
We ride in memory of our loved Father and Grandpa. Each dollar raised is another dollar towards helping others not suffer through the same actions of the disease.
