My Personal Fundraising Page

As many of your know, I lost my Mom, Julieanne in 2016 to Alzheimer's at the young age of 76. For 16 years, Mom fought the bravest of fights with the heinous disease. There are a lot terrible diseases out there, but as I often say this is one of the worst. For there is no cure today, but I pray there will be one someday soon, so others do not have to endure what Mom endured. In June, along with family and friends, I will be riding for Mom. It is my way of saying thank you for being the best Mother in the whole world. She set the example of what a good wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend should be. She taught us the importance of love, laughter and fun. Dad, my sister, my brother, our spouses and her 7 adoring grandchildren miss her terribly, but we have wonderful memories that we will cherish always.
This year we will be celebrating 25th Anniversary of the Ride. This will mark my 8th year of involvement with the ride, my 5th year riding. Like last year, due to Covid, the ride will be virtual. I will be riding with some of my favorite people in the month of June to raise critical funds for research. I am committed as ever to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®. Currently, more than 5.7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Every 65 seconds, someone gets Alzheimer's. These numbers are stagering. Our future is at risk and we must come together to change the course of this disease. Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
