My mother-in-law, Pat, is living with Alzheimer's. And she is living in a community of other women and men who also are living with this disease. And we are blessed that this community is located in our town. In the 5+ years that she has been at Bridges by Epoch, we have had the opportunity to get to know some wonderful people, both her neighbors and her caregivers. Sadly, many of her neighbors have passed on over the years, but I feel privileged to have met and connected with them. So I will be riding for Pat ... and Sima ... and Everett ... and Joan ... and Bill ... and for all of their caregivers ... Dawn ... and Brenda ... and Abbi ... and Josh ... and ...
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer's research- only dollars. By participating in the 2019 Ride to End Alzheimer's, I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
And you can help me. These dollars are desperately needed- for the more than 5 million Americans living with Alzheimer's, their 16 million caregivers, and millions more who have lost a loved one to this disease.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and their ground breaking momentum in the field of Alzheimer's research. 90% of the funds raised go toward the Association's efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer's and other dementias.
Help me cycle towards a world with our first survivor and donate today!
