5 MILLION to 16 MILLION. These numbers are staggering.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk and we must come together to change the course of this disease. I unfortunately have seen what happens to someone with ALZ. No one should ever have a person they care about be taken by ALZ. That is why I am riding.
Please support my efforts by making a donation if you can. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease. Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease!
As you can tell by the photo from a previous RIDE to END ALZ, I still don't like riding up hills. Liz looks like she is ready to tackle Mount Washington. Edwin doesn't seem to mind, he had time to take a selfie!
