Rita Cramer's Fundraising Page for Alzheimer's
Alzheimer's has become very real for me, watching the changes in my Mom's life over the past few years. Alzheimer's has taken her memory, her ability to live outside a nursing home, her independence, and most of the things that make life worth living. There needs to be a cure for this disease, and I'm happy to help. In addition to riding the MA/NH bike ride, I'm a volunteer on the MA/NH ride committee, and have run to raise money for the Pennsylvania chapter as well. I just completed the first session of my second Alzheimer's clinical trial at MGH, and will be back for round 2 in a couple of months.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease. I attended a presentation by some of the leading researchers in the field who got their start with grants from the Alzheimer's Association - that's the type of work I'm trying to support.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease!
