Riding for a World Without Alzheimer's
My dad would have turned 103 this spring. He was an accomplished doctor and researcher and he was a loving father and grandfather. He was also diagnosed with Alzheimer's in the final year's of his life. Like 5.8 million Americans, our family also saw this disease up front.
We need to break the grip of Alzheimer's and it is for this reason I am riding. Proceeds from the ride support the research program of the Alzheimer's Association, the largest private non profit funder of dementia research in the world.
Your donation also supports our vital care and support services, all of which have gone virtual so that we can support thousands of families grappling with Alzheimer's and dementia in this time of COVID 19. We provide a large number of educational progams, support groups and technical assistance to health care staff working in long term care and community care settings.
Your support helps us to reclaim the future; that new generations will not know the ravages of Alzheimer's.
We so appreciate your generous support. Thank you!
