Elianna and Jeremy are fundraising for the 2023 fundraiser, supporting the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Blanche Greenberg and Gerald Greenberg (Poppy).

While Jeremy has run 10 marathons, this will be Elianna's first and they are both so excited to run in Chicago, the city where they met supporting such a meaningful cause.

Jeremy's grandparents gave him his love of exercise and showed him that life is better in motion. When he was young, his Grandma would take him and his sisters to a park near her Denver home and would power walk faster than any of us could run. She wouldn’t stop, not even for her struggling grandkids. He realized he should just try to find a way to keep up. Jeremy's Grandpa (Poppy) led by example by showing him how to support everyone around you at all times.

The foundation of keeping life in motion, supporting the people around you and never stopping is something he learned a lot from his grandparents.

For years, his Grandma battled Alzheimer’s. During the entire time, he saw her continued fight through the disease in all the ways she could.

To support his grandparents and others who have Alzheimer’s, we've committed to fight the disease by raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.

Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk and we must come together to change the course of this disease.

All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease. Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
