2020 is a milestone year for me, 40 years old and not getting any younger. Running is something that started with my mom who ran several marathons and then passed the baton to my brother who ran a few himself. For me, it never came quite so easy, but I have now run 4 half marathons and enjoy a good challenge. For years, I've debated over whether or not I should do a full one. Now that I'm turning 40, it's the perfect time to GO FOR IT!
Most of you know by now how much Alzheimer's has impacted my life both personally and professionally. I'm proud and honored to work at the Alzheimer's Association Home Office and see first-hand what donor dollars are doing, whether it's our 24/7 Helpline, fueling research or advocating for the cause. Since I began working for the Associaiton, I've lost my grandmother and father-in-law to this horrific disease. I've seen the emotional and financial toll it has on caregivers.
Please support me on my marathon journey. Your encouragement will help carry me across the finish line. One day we will reach the ultimate finish line of a world without Alzheimer's.
