Megan Black's Fundraising Page
10 years ago my father Jim Black lost his courageous battle with early-onset Alzheimer's Disease, just a week before his 70th birthday.
In 2023 I am honoring him, as well as the over 6 million Americans who are currently living with Alzheimer's, by running my third Chicago Marathon (and the first in 15 years!) to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer's Association.
All funds raised benefit the Alz Association and its work to enhance care, support programs and advance research towards treatment, prevention, and ultimately a cure for Alzheimer's.
Since this is such a personal cause for my family, Kevin and I are matching 1:1 all donations made, up to $10,000!
Thank you in advance for joining the fight against this cruel disease with no known cure. Perhaps in our lifetime, we can see the first survivor of Alzheimer's!
Megan
