My Personal Fundraising Page
Hello Family and Friends,
Inspired by my dad, my brother, aunt, uncles, cousins and friends who ran before me, I am participating in the 2023 Chicago Marathon. With a lot of training and practice, I plan to run 26.2 miles just 2 weeks shy of my 40th birthday. As a first time marathon runner I wanted to make this as meaningful as possible. I have chosen to run for a charity that is dedicated to ending Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
By participating in this event, I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
Thank you for any donation amount you are able to give!
Sincerely,
Kay
