I have the amazing oppertinuty to run the Chicago Marathon in 2023 as a charity runner with the Alzheimer's Association Alz Stars team. 

I am raising money in support of my mother in law, Marikay. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2021 and the impact to her and our family has been profound. The one thing that has not been stolen from her is her joy, her laughter and her love. So I will run with those in mind. 

Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk and we must come together to change the course of this disease.
