My Personal Fundraising Page
“Running is nothing more than a series of arguments between the part of your brain that want to stop and the part that want to keep going.”
I’ve always been intrigued with the thought of running a marathon but remained content with it being just that…a thought. It was not until a family member was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in June 2022 that I knew that this was the year for to take on something that would not only challenge me physically and mentally, but also raise money for an organization that has provided so much support for my family and I.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. By participating in this event, I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
Please support my efforts by making a donation.
All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease. Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease!
