Kick Alzheimer's Ass for Jan
Most of you are familiar with Alzheimer's disease, its effect on those afflicted, and the people that love and care for them. Recently my mom Jan was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and as a family we have been tackling it head on. Mom has made significant changes to her daily regimen and is currently enrolled in a clinical trial study for a drug we hope will be the one that makes the difference. Currently there is no cure, and only limited medications are available to help with the progression of Alzheimer's. I have decided to run the 2020 Chicago Marathon as a charity runner for Alzheimer's Association, because I believe that a cure exists, and watching my Mom fight makes me want to fight too. Please help me raise money for this very important cause.
Love you guys,
By participating in this event, I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk and we must come together to change the course of this disease.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease. Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease!
