My Personal Fundraising Page
My husband Daniel and I have decided to run the 2022 Chicago Marathon on October 9th, to honor the family and friends we have lost to Alzheimer's disease. Both of our grandmothers whom were so special to us, were taken far too soon due to this awful disease, and unfortunately we are not alone. Too many friends, parents, and grandparents are taken from loved ones due to this relentless disease.
This organization and its purpose is so important to Daniel and I, and although we have been supporting this cause with my mother (Millies Marchers) since 2014, we wanted to push ourselves to do more this year.
We know times are tough financially, so we ask only to donate what you are compelled to support, based on your current circumstances. We will be running with the names of those who we or our friends/family have lost to Alzheimer's on our back, to honor their names each mile we run. Please let us know if there is someone we can honor on your behalf.
Anything you can do to support is greatly appreciated! We will be thinking of you October 9th!
By participating in this event, I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk and we must come together to change the course of this disease.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease. Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease!
