By participating in the 2024 Chicago Marathon, we have committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association®.

Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk and we must come together to change the course of this disease.

I personally lost my grandmother to this disease in 2013 and have been fundraising to help find a cure ever since. Although my grandmother was taken from our family to early, she taught us all what it takes to be resilient, caring, and the true meaning of family. I have so many fond memories and I can only hope she's looking down on us and proud of what we are trying to accomplish.
