Thank you for visiting my ALZ Team webpage. My marathon journey began in June 2023 as a way to set a new fitness goal and, more importantly, to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Association®. Although I faced a setback due to a back injury and couldn’t race in 2023, I’m excited to share that I recommitted in early 2024 and am ready to run in the Chicago Marathon on October 13th, 2024.

Currently, over 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, a number projected to nearly double to 13 million by 2050. It’s the 7th leading cause of death among adults in the U.S., and my family, like many others, has been affected by this devastating disease and other memory related conditions.

I invite you to support my efforts by making a donation. Every dollar raised goes directly to the Alzheimer’s Association, helping to enhance care, support programs, and advance research toward treatment, prevention, and ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s.
