We walk and support in loving memory of Pa Don - Donald Daugherty (11/2/33 - 10/2/14).
He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the American Federation of State and County Municipal Employees (AFSCME). He was retired from Brushy Mountain State Prison with 33 years service and in 1977 helped recapture James Earl Ray when he escaped from Brushy Mountain Prison.
Above all though, he was a man we all wish we could only be half as great as. He loved his family and treated everyone by The Golden Rule. His legacy lives on in the life he has woven into others and he will be remembered for generations to come.
