Last year our team raised over $4500 for the Alzheimer's Association in our fight against Alzheimer's and all other dementias - Thank YOU to our superheroes who made this happen!
We continue to Walk, as Alzheimers and other dementias continue to impact those we love. This disease is relentless and so are we!
And this year we have even more reason to Walk, as we enter the Era of Treatment! That's right, there are now FDA approved medications that help delay the progression of the disease for some people in early stages of dementia! It’s not a cure (yet), but to those who have benefitted from these new treatments, it is priceless to have more time with their loved ones and participate in decisions after a diagnosis. And there are more in the pipeline!
