I lost my dad to Alzheimer's in 2008 and my sister, Beth is living with Alzheimer's.
Love is challenging. Love is a journey of hope. Pope Francis said real love must lead you to do good, to get your hands dirty with works of love. He said love is concrete and faces the challenges, struggles, and messiness of everyday life. Love is never indifferent to other's suffering.
My journey started in 2004 and continues today. I have been immersed in doing my small part in finding an end or a way to stop to Alzheimer’s. I do this for you, Dad, for you, Beth, for all the caregivers and those suffering from dementia, and I do it for myself. I Remember the Love.
