Our mom was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. We have known for a while that she has it but it wasn’t officially diagnosed until recently. There isn’t many medications out there yet that can stop this disease from progressing. It is truly heartbreaking. To watch the person you love slowly forget you and all that was important to them, is the worse thing ever.
