It is projected that the number of people with Alzheimer’s and other dementias will grow significantly over the next few decades increasing the need for care from families and caregivers, and the cost. The good news is that the fight for effective treatments and cures is raging, and the Alzheimer's Association is in the thick of it! Recently an effective treatment for early diagnosed patients was announced.  The drug, Leqembi, was launched with coverage by Medicare and Medicaid. We are confident that additional treatments will soon follow.  Please join the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church team at the Rochester NY Walk to End Alzheimer's on October 7th. The Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Come, donate, and walk with us to find that first survivor!
