My name is Donna Prezant and Lawrence Ferdinand was my beloved father. He passed away from Alzheimer's in December 2012 at the age of 87. Seeing Dad suffer with Alzheimer's changed our lives forever, so my family and I turned our grief into action and created Larry's Team in 2013.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's. Since the year 2000, Alzheimer's deaths have increased by 145%. Alzheimer's is one of the costliest conditions to society and the U.S. economy. Alzheimer's research is making remarkable progress, but we still need your help to continue making inroads.
Larry's Team needs your support. Any donation large or small goes a long way for the Alzheimer's Association to continue providing care, support, research, awareness and advocacy in communities nationwide for the 6 million Americans affected by Alzheimer's disease.
