Renee and Denny Hopf were married in 1963 and were truly a match made in heaven. Renee was bright, quick-witted, a fantastic dancer and had a smile and a laugh that would light up a room. She was an amazing mother, friend, wife and grandmother. Denny too, was loved dearly by his family, friends and coworkers. He excelled at his work, his painting/artwork and his many hobbies. Together, Denny and Renee were a force to be reckoned with - generous, creative, loving and kind.
When Renee was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, Denny worked tirelessly to raise money in her honor every year through the Walk to End Alzheimer's. Team "Still Renee" was a passion and an outlet for him - a way to be proactive in a situation that often times felt helpless. Renee passed away in the spring of 2022 due to Alzheimer's Disease and Denny passed away less than a year later in January of 2023.
To honor BOTH Denny and Renee this year, Team Still Renee will be accepting donations in the fight against Alzheimer's. Team Still Renee has repeatedly been among the top fundraising teams in Georgia each year thanks to Denny's dedication and efforts. Please help us continue the legacy of both Denny and Renee in 2023 by donating here and bringing us all closer to a world without Alzheimer's.
