I Walk for the SF Alzheimer Association because I Lost my mom to Alzheimer’s. For 4 years my Dad and I were frustrated that her dr had no diagnoses for why mom was suffering from Massive depression, memory loss and loss of mobility. Mom finally got diagnosed with Alzheimer’s after she began hallucinating from taking to many daily anti-depressants. It was to late for mom to have input on her care while we were figuring out for ourselves how to care for her.
