Walk or Donate

The Walk to End Alzheimer's is happening this year both virtual, and in person.  On Saturday, October 15 come walk the N. Charleston Riverfront Park on the old Naval Base.  You can walk the full two mile route or just a few blocks.  If you prefer to do the virtual walk you can still enjoy the festivities through the phone app.  Walk your neighborhood or your favorite park.  

Even if you can't walk you can still be a part of the United We Stand team by donating $5 or $10 to the Alzheimer's Association through this site. 

Why United We Stand as a team name?  Because we can't do this alone.  For United We Stand - Divided We Fall.  You can see the full song at the bottom of this page.  It can't be expressed any better.  

REALITY:  It's happening every day.  They take a fist full of vitamins every morning, hit the gym, and jog.  We are losing these loved ones to heart attacks, strokes, cancer, and Alzheimer's.  

We want to witness Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Together, we can control and then finally end Alzheimer's disease

Please don't let these sayings continue to be a reality.....
