We are walking in memory of our mom, who passed away on September 11, 2001 after suffering from Alzheimer's disease for over 10 years. By participating in the 2020 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, we are committed to the fight against the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death. Even though this years's Walk will be virtual, our family is walking in our neighborhood to raise funds.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this devastating disease.
We need your support to do our part! Please make a tax-deductible donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
This is the 19th year we will be participating in the Alzheimer's Walk and collectively our team alone has raised over $192,000.00 This year we would like to raise another $8,000.00 to reach $200,000.00 With the continued support of our generous family and friends, we are confident that we can reach our goal. Thank you in advance for your support and remember, the end of Alzheimer's starts here!
