About 4 1/2 years ago my dad (pops) was diagnosed with dementia that will worsen in time...with that being said, time, memories and heartfelt moments will soon fade from my dad's thoughts...March of last year, our family suffered the loss of our mom to an unexpected diagnosis of cancer, my dads primary caregiver, wife of 47 years and my two nephews grandmother. My sister and I are now my dads primary caregivers and we do anything we can to enjoy the time with our dad whom is all we have left. I pray a cure is found...It breaks my heart knowing this is what will be inevitable BUT I must cherish the memories I have and will continue to make with my pops! I dont talk about it much and dont express myself because its not really me. I am a person who believes in ACTION, not speaking about it...THIS is a part of my dedication to him...please find the time to show support by some kind words or a donation to help find a remedy to the terrible disease.
