This cause is extremely personal to us - our dear mother was diagnosed over 6 years ago. The disease has progressed so far that she no longer lives with my Father, seldom speaks, and needs help with almost every aspect of her life. We moved her to a new home called Diamond Willow last year and she has settled in nicely there. My Dad faithfully visits her 4 times a week and I have been fortunate to see her once a week this summer. She is no longer able to leave for outings, which sadly means no more trips to her beloved cabin at the lake. Her sweet disposition is prevailing throughout her journey and for that we are thankful!
