I called on an Alzheimer's facility today. The person I came to see was not availble so I visited with the dear resident for half an hour or so. She sang like a canary. Her words made no sense but the tone of her voice was as pure as it could be. The longer I held her hand, the more she sang. Folks, when you deal with dementia, hold their hands and understand they are doing the best they can. Make them feel all is okay! Probably the best part of my day was holding this dear woman's hands and listening to her voice. from Bill Crawford Facebook post August 20, 2018
